12 people in 3 cars left Warrnambool to drive 8 hours to Cape Jervis to catch the Sealink Ferry to Kangaroo Island. By the end of the travel day we were wishing the ferry was the 8 hours instead of only 45 minutes !
On the way we cross from Victoria State to South Australia and have to eat or throw out all fruit and vegetables due to a quarantine .. You will see from the pics we ate most of it.
There is a lot of lumber industry in this area, the trees are replanted in perfect rows.
Vineyards everywhere, Lindemans, Penfolds, Stone Haven ... And we cannot stop because we have a ferry to catch .... Can you see the tear slowly rolling down my cheek.
Also, a lot of places are only open 10 or 11 to 4 or 5 ... Not convenient for us at all !
BTW ... For some reason the pics are not staying in the order I add them so I apologize if they are a little confusing.
