Saturday,December 29, 2012 - The Great Ocean Road

This is an amazing one hour in each direction road trip from Warrnambool .... Or you can make it as long as you want to. There are incredible scenic stops such as the Bay of Islands, 12 Apostles, London Bridge, the arch, th gorge, the grotto etc. etc. we also happened to come across a Blue Tongue Lizard!

These sights can include a lot of cliff hugging, up hill in both directions walks some with and more without stairs .... We should have done this a couple of times a week!!

BTW ... Yes it was still crazy windy and a cooler day to be on the ocean edge.

CDN - AUS Christmas

First things first, it's not the same without snow, ice skating, tobogganing, sledding and even trudging from house to house in the cold.

We had our Christmas on The 24th, there was all of us and Nikki's Nan and Dez, her parents Pam and John, her brother Matt and his wife Jen, her godmother Lorraine. Also able to join our group were Kyle and Nikki's friends, Luke and Brianna and little Harry, Steph and Morgan and I think that filled the house! It was a wonderful evening of great company and lots of food.

We even bought a Christmas tree for the rental house to help get us in the spirit .... Don't you love our kangaroo topper ?

Pre-Christmas

Since coming back from Kangaroo Island we are doing a lot of things around Warrnambool. The following are random pictures .... Sorry the blog has been taking back seat to getting out and about !!

Oh and the boys and their toys, they bought radio controlled helicopters, six of them and one quadcopter, they were a lot of fun. Kyle and his mates will enjoy them!

Oh and we were playing cricket .... Ha, in the house.
